Emergencies

In Case of Emergencies

Sometimes clients need emergency and crisis support beyond the support I am able to provide at any given time. Because I am a solo practitioner and my practice is considered to be an outpatient facility, I am set up to accommodate individuals who are reasonably safe and resourceful. I am not available at all times, and I cannot provide 24-hour emergency coverage for my clients. If an urgent mental health issue/emergency arises, the main priority is for you to receive the urgent care you need. If a life-threatening mental health emergency occurs, I recommend that you do one or more of the following:

Call the National Suicide Prevention Hotline: 1-800-273-8255

Call Behavioral Health Link/GCAL: 1-800-715-4225

Call or go directly to Ridgeview Institute at 770.434.4567

Call or go directly to Lakeview Behavioral Health 877.659.4522

Call or go directly to Peachford Hospital at 770.454.5589

Call 911.

Go to your nearest emergency room.

You may then contact me once you have received emergency support and you are safe.

The resources referenced above are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
